Atelier LSA

Sion · Offices · 2022

Right in the heart of the city of Sion, at the crossroads of Rue de Lausanne and Avenue de la Gare, this former commercial unit enjoys a privileged position between an urban space animated by multiple flows and a planted inner courtyard where calm and tranquillity prevail.

This transformation project is an opportunity to rethink the way we work, at a time when it is being fundamentally called into question, notably with the arrival of the home office.

The fitting-out of our architecture studio thus returns to the essence of its team's needs and allows a redefinition of conventional workspaces to foster well-being in a soft and pleasant atmosphere.

The space aims to be sober, functional and flexible while offering a warm welcome to its users, who can appropriate the various available zones (reading / drawing / meeting / break) according to their needs.

Being on the same level as Rue de Lausanne allows direct contact with passers-by and thus brings the behind-the-scenes of our studio into the light. Conversely, a quieter and more intimate zone is created in direct relation with the backyard.

The through-plan typology makes possible a visual continuity from the workspace on the street to the courtyard; its spatial division and layout further energise the interactions. Materials such as parquet, furniture and textiles lend a certain domesticity to the whole.

The sheer curtains allow both the concealment of the administrative equipment and the necessary acoustic comfort. The choice of open-plan encourages exchange within the studio, creating a space conducive to reflection and creation in the service of our projects.
